If some Software Developers built houses?
June 10th, 2005Mark’s gone walkabout….
May 24th, 2005… and he’s taken some great photos.
Hell indeed

Save Toby?
April 27th, 2005Scary that I find this amusing…… Savetoby.com | Only YOU have the power to Save Toby!
Builders *really* nearly finished
April 27th, 2005I’ve put up a few more photos of the renovations, including the nearly completed bathroom (the plumber comes tomorrow. woo-hoo! another working sink!) and the finished railing on the deck (I know, small things).
Builders nearly finished
April 14th, 2005The builders have nearly finished…. Aside from some bits and pieces, like our vanity top, they won’t be there day to day anymore. (Yay!)
They put on our door handles yesterday.
One hell of a piece of glass
April 6th, 2005We have the most amazing piece of glass in our house…. They installed it yesterday.
It’s 10mm thick and weighs 150kg.
I *like* Mac OS X
April 6th, 2005The 512MB of RAM arrived for the G3 laptop.
Aside from the deficiency of not being able to playback movies encoded with anything more CPU intensive than low resolution MPEG1, it’s a very nice setup. I particularly like being able to use the same OS at work and at home.
Not much to report…
April 4th, 2005I put up some more photos of our house being re-assembled and of our dog, Charlie Brown.
Oh, and I’m eagerly awaiting the 512MB of RAM that’s coming for the PowerBook G3 (Lombard) I’ve inherited. The 128MB it came with is far from enough to run Mac OS X nicely.
I give in!
March 16th, 2005Not quite sure what I’m going to put up here yet, but I now have a weblog…..
